Hyperliquid Flips Solana in Fully Diluted Valuation

HYPE hit $56 today, pushing Hyperliquid's fully diluted valuation past Solana's at roughly $54 billion. The perp DEX token is up 45% in a week, driven by spot ETF filings from Bitwise, Grayscale and VanEck, plus platform revenue north of $620 million annualized. Hyperliquid now captures about 42% of all blockchain fees this week, ahead of Tron at 22.6%, Solana at 10.6% and Ethereum at 8%. The flip is FDV-only. Solana's circulating market cap remains larger. SpaceX S-1 Reveals 18,712 Bitcoin on Balance Sheet

SpaceX's IPO filing with the SEC shows the company holds 18,712 BTC acquired at an average cost of roughly $35,300 per coin. At today's prices that stack is worth about $1.45 billion, making SpaceX a larger corporate holder than both Tesla (11,509 BTC) and Coinbase (16,492 BTC). The position has been unchanged since late 2024, with no new buys or sales disclosed. IPO is expected next month. (Source: CoinDesk, CoinCentral)

Privacy and Quantum-Resistant Tokens Rally

ZEC, QRL and STRK posted gains of 6 to 25% as the quantum-resistant category market cap hit $12.9 billion. Two catalysts: the SEC closed its investigation into the Zcash Foundation without enforcement, and Google's March research showing a quantum machine could crack a BTC private key in roughly 9 minutes with fewer than 500,000 qubits continues to drive rotation. Analysts now point to 2029 as the key deadline. (Source: CoinDesk, CoinCodex)

Korean Funeral Firm Loses $33M on Leveraged Ether ETF

Bumo Sarang, South Korea's seventh-largest funeral services provider, routed $40 million of customer prepayments into a 2x leveraged BitMine ETF. The position lost 83% of its value. The episode exposed a regulatory gap: Korean prepaid funeral funds sit under the Fair Trade Commission, not a financial regulator. A review of 75 providers found 43% hold fewer assets than prepayments owed. Six legislative proposals are now pending to restrict how these firms invest. (Source: CoinDesk, Tom's Hardware)
