NYSE Owner ICE and OKX Team Up for Oil Perpetual Futures

Intercontinental Exchange, the company behind the New York Stock Exchange, is working with crypto exchange OKX to offer perpetual futures contracts tied to Brent crude and WTI oil benchmarks. The products will be available to OKX's roughly 120 million users in jurisdictions where the exchange is already licensed for perps. ICE made a strategic investment in OKX back in March, valuing the exchange at $25 billion. Polymarket Hit by $520K Exploit on Polygon

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT flagged a suspected security breach at Polymarket on May 22, with over $520,000 drained from the platform's UMA CTF Adapter contract on Polygon. Polymarket's engineering team traced the root cause to a compromised private key tied to a six-year-old internal operations wallet, not a smart contract vulnerability. User funds and market resolutions were unaffected. The key has been rotated, production permissions revoked, and remaining secrets are migrating to a key management service. Crypto market maker Wintermute entered the DeFi vault curation space with Armitage, deploying its first two USDC-denominated vaults on Morpho. The pitch: Wintermute can accept collateral types other curators cannot, because it runs its own liquidation engine across 70+ venues and 10+ chains with $10 billion in average daily volume.
